St Agnes VSOP is produced by the St Agnes Distillery, operated by Angove Family Winemakers in Renmark, South Australia, in the Riverland wine region. St Agnes is one of Australia's oldest and most recognised brandy producers, with continuous brandy production extending back to 1910. VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) designates a minimum of five years maturation, during which the spirit is aged in small Australian and French oak barrels. Extended maturation contributes additional complexity, colour and depth of flavour compared to the standard brandy expression. On the nose, the VSOP presents aromas of vanilla, caramel, dried fruit and warm oak spice. The palate is rounded and more structured than the standard expression, with notes of toffee, dried apricot, subtle wood spice and a long, smooth finish. Bottled at 37% ABV in a 700ml format.
