Pusser's Select 151 Rum 75.5% 700ml Bottle

Pusser's Select 151 Rum is a high-strength overproof rum produced to a robust specification that delivers intense flavour and high alcohol content. Overproof rums have a long tradition in Caribbean rum production, originally produced to meet the Royal Navy's gunpowder test — where a rum was considered proof if it would still ignite gunpowder when doused in spirit. Today, overproof rums are prized by cocktail bartenders for their flavour intensity and mixing power, as well as by collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate the concentrated character of undiluted or minimally diluted spirit. The nose is bold and intense with rich molasses, tropical fruit, vanilla and spice, while the palate is full-bodied, warming and complex with a long, powerful finish. Dilute to taste with water or ice, or use as a premium cocktail float. Handle with care due to high alcohol content.
