Millbrook Viognier is a premium Perth Hills expression of one of the world's most intensely perfumed white grape varieties — Viognier, originally from France's northern Rhône Valley and celebrated for its extraordinary floral and stone fruit aromatics. Millbrook has established a strong reputation for Viognier in the Perth Hills, producing wines that capture the variety's hallmark of apricot, peach, orange blossom, and exotic spice aromatics in a style suited to the Western Australian climate. Viognier is one of the more challenging white varieties to grow and vinify correctly, requiring the right balance of ripeness to express its perfume without becoming heavy or phenolic. Millbrook's Viognier presents a full straw colour and a richly perfumed nose of fresh apricot, orange blossom, white peach, ginger, and honeysuckle. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with a characteristic silky, textured mouthfeel and a long, exotic, perfumed finish. Millbrook Winery is a celebrated estate in the Perth Hills wine region of Western Australia — a picturesque, elevated wine-growing area east of Perth that produces wines of genuine regional character from a diverse range of varieties. Millbrook is particularly celebrated for exploring alternative and lesser-known varieties alongside classic styles, with the estate's commitment to Fiano, Viognier, and Verdelho earning it a distinctive place in the WA wine landscape.
