James Boag's Premium Lager is brewed by J. Boag & Son at their historic brewery in Launceston, Tasmania — established in 1881 and now owned by Lion. Boags Premium is one of Tasmania's most celebrated beers and one of Australia's premium lager offerings. Crafted using pristine Tasmanian water from the Ben Lomond plateau and quality malts and hops, this full-strength lager delivers a clean, refined palate with a smooth malt character, mild and balanced hop bitterness, and a crisp, clean finish. Pale golden in colour with excellent clarity. The 375ml bottle is the classic format for this premium Tasmanian lager, long regarded as one of Australia's finest mainstream offerings.
