Grant Burge Summers Eden Valley Chardonnay is sourced from the Summers Vineyard in the Eden Valley — a high-altitude, cool-climate sub-region of the Barossa that produces wines of distinctive elegance and natural acidity, quite different in character from the warm-climate reds for which the Barossa floor is celebrated. The Eden Valley is internationally recognised for producing some of Australia's finest Riesling and Chardonnay, and the Summers site provides fruit of exceptional quality and cool-climate precision. This Chardonnay presents a bright straw colour and an elegant nose of white peach, citrus, and subtle floral notes with restrained oak character. On the palate it is medium-bodied with crisp natural acidity, focused stone fruit and citrus flavours, and a long, mineral finish reflecting the cool terroir of the Eden Valley.
