Grant Burge 5th Generation Chardonnay is part of the 5th Generation range honouring five generations of the Burge family's winemaking tradition in the Barossa Valley. This Chardonnay draws fruit from both the Barossa Valley and the cooler Eden Valley sub-region, combining the richness of Barossa-grown Chardonnay with the elegance and natural acidity of Eden Valley fruit to create a wine of dynamic complexity and balance. The wine presents a bright straw colour and a fruit-driven nose of white peach, nectarine, ripe citrus, and a subtle creamy oak note. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with concentrated stone fruit flavour, excellent natural acidity, and a balanced, lingering finish. This wine demonstrates how the combination of Barossa and Eden Valley fruit produces Chardonnay of genuine nuance.
