Blind Corner Chardonnay is an estate-grown Chardonnay from this acclaimed minimal-intervention producer in the Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River — one of Australia's most celebrated wine regions for Chardonnay of exceptional quality, structure, and elegance. Benjamin Kagi at Blind Corner takes a natural winemaking approach: whole-bunch pressing, wild yeast fermentation, extended lees ageing, and minimal sulphur additions produce a Chardonnay of genuine complexity and individuality. This wine is crafted to express the specific character of the Blind Corner vineyard site rather than a generic style — resulting in a Chardonnay of restrained elegance, textural richness, and mineral precision. The wine presents a bright straw colour and a complex nose of white peach, citrus, hazelnut, and subtle mineral tension. On the palate it is medium-bodied with excellent natural acidity, stone fruit and creamy lees character, and a long, refined mineral finish. Blind Corner is an independent, family-owned winery in the Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River — one of Australia's most celebrated wine regions. Founded by Benjamin and Emi Kagi, Blind Corner is committed to minimal-intervention winemaking, organic and biodynamic viticulture, and low-sulphur production. The estate wines express genuine place and vintage character, and Blind Corner has built a devoted following for its honest, terroir-driven approach. Crafted at Blind Corner Wines, 1 Blind Corner Lane, Wilyabrup, Margaret River, Western Australia 6280. Visit www.blindcorner.com.au. Available at Bayswater Bottle-O. Liquor licence 6030004168.
